you have rightly mentioned "Today Dubai is on the world map more visibly as a place to live their dreams" as you can happily live in Dubai only in dreams. In reality things have changed a bit. Burj Dubai has been renamed as Burj Khalifa (named after ruler of Abu dhabi ruler), what a bad start than this. It is first “Thanks giving” gesture for Abu Dhabi's $30b loan. Amazing firework can make you happy for few seconds, you might forget recession for those few seconds. But firework can’t change the facts. Firework doesn’t signify Emirates growth. I agree Dubai is not finished, But it can't enjoy the benefits of Hype & marketing anymore. Dubai has to face ground realities now, which will make it stronger in long run. Emotions should be separated from facts for arriving at any conclusion. My sincere wish is to see Dubai progress better than past. Dubai has will to survive & it will. Insha ALLAH.
